How to get here

Travelling from Abroad

The nearest airport is Dalaman International airport. If you are travelling from the UK direct flights to Dalaman are readily available on airlines such as British Airways, Easyjet, Thomas Cook, Thompson and Monarch. For the best deals look at sites such as SkyScanner, or go directly to the airline websites. Turkish Airlines also have indirect scheduled flights to Dalaman via Istanbul. Flights offered by operators are changing regularly so it’s best to do an online search before booking or consult a flight specialist. If you are travelling from outside the UK please consult your country-specific flight sites. Many countries have direct flights to Dalaman.

From the airport

The journey from the airport to Dalyan will take approximately 30minutes by car. We can arrange transfers (see our prices page for the current season charge, or contact us for details).
If you are arriving by private car the drive from the airport will you via Dalaman town and Otaca.

From within Turkey

If you are travelling on public transport within Turkey you will find the bus system economical, comfortable and efficient. Take the bus to Ortaca (Mugla) on the Marmaris/Fethiye road and transfer to minibus (dolmus) for the remaining 15 minute journey to Dalyan. You will alight next to the turtle statue, near the mosque and river side. From here you can take a taxi for the final five minute ride.

Alternatively to complete the journey on foot, directions are as follows. Take the Iztuzu beach road out of the village (past the Binlik hotel) continue until you see a small local shop at the centre of a fork in the road, right takes you out of the village towards Iztuzu beach and Gokbel (signposted); left takes you into the Arikbasi area and to our pension. Continue down the left hand fork for approximately 750 metres and you will see the sign for the pension (which is tucked away down a private road on the left) just before the road takes a sharp right hand turn at the end of the village.
