Turkish Airlines also have indirect scheduled flights to Dalaman via Istanbul. Flights offered by operators are changing regularly so it’s best to search at the time or consult a flight specialist.

The Turkish bus system is economical, comfortable and efficient, so take the bus to Ortaca (Mugla) on the Marmaris/Dalaman road and transfer to minibus (dolmus) for the remaining 15 minute journey. You will alight at the Post Office (PTT) in the centre of the village, from where you can take a taxi for the final five minute ride.
Or, for those wishing to complete the journey on foot, directions from Dalyan are as follows. Take the Iztuzu road out of the village to what appears to be pretty much the end of the village, as far as the old Fire Station; then turn left down Arikbasi, you will see a small ‘market’ shop on either side of the road and a sign for our pension, continue for approximately 750 metres the pension is tucked away down a private road on the left, just before the road takes a sharp right hand turn at the end of the village.
